This is the problem. I was using the first code in the vhost config:
SetHandler
"proxy:unix:/var/run/php/php8.3-fpm.sock|fcgi://localhost/"
Notice the lamp:
SetHandler
"proxy:unix:/var/run/php/php8.3-fpm.lamp.sock|fcgi://localhost/"
Now it works.
