Well... Flabbergasted... I installed last Kubuntu at home and everything worked as advertised. Then I connected to the TV I bought as a monitor and DOESN'T $%&K!NG WORK! 8-( Window$ works flawlessly, but Linux doesn't... What's different between the TV at home and this one? Beats me...
