hmmm, I could probably use one of those. the problem I have right now is lack of funds. :( Also, if I had one of those, I would certainly put NVDA (an open source screen reader) on there. hey, thats an idea! put nvda on there and see if a few visually impaired members want them. Also, you can install ubuntu on there with the screen reader option turned on. It's easy enough to setup. In fact, I can do so blindfolded! ah ha, bad blind joke! :) -eric On Nov 29, 2015, at 1:09 AM, AZ Pete wrote: > All, > > I've been doing a bit of holiday housekeeping and have two extra laptaps that I'm selling. > I thought I'd offer them to the PLUG folks before I put them on ebay. > Both laptops work quite well and have licensed Win7 loaded. > > Hp Pavillion DM1 Notebook > AMD E-350 1.6Ghz > RAM 4GB > 300Gb HD > 11.6" screen 1366 x 768 > Win7 x64 Home Premium > $125 > Battery is pretty much shot, but works great on AC. > > > Lenovo Thinkpad SL500 type 2746 > Intel Core2 Duo 1.8Ghz > 15.4" Screen > 2Gb Ram > 160GB HDD > Win 7 Ultimate > DVD RW > $150 > Left hinge is slightly loose. > > Contact me offline if interested. > Thanks, > Peter > > > > > > --------------------------------------------------- > PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.phxlinux.org > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: > http://lists.phxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.phxlinux.org To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.phxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
