cat /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-cd.rules

Probably need to remove some old entries there - vi/nano remove them 
with sudo.  The network udev rule there too plays havoc with vm clones 
as well with stagnant hardware migration remnants.

cat /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-
70-persistent-cd.rules   70-persistent-net.rules
