Okay, I've deleted everything in /tmp and over the past day only one thing has been added there; and it is an example of another socket entry named pulse-xmxmx (0 (zero) file size) that has been added there multiple times: $ pwd;ls -ltr /home/joe/tmp/pulse-FhJiuD7aXpOb total 0 How can I chase down what is causing "pulse" socket entries to be added in 'tmp' repeatedly? ------------------- > They aren't files, they are sockets.
