For iPad, it's Apple's Xcode which primarily uses Objective-C but I do know you are able to code in Java, and some other languages. It's a little different with iPad since if you are going to be distributing the app it will need to be through a developers account which can either create a dev app or a production app. The difference between the two is that the dev app can only be distributed through the app store to a single ipad with a given designator. A production app is basically a free-for-all and available to the world, for a fee if you choose. --Dan On May 31, 2011, at 9:22 PM, Daniel Stasinski wrote: > On Mon, May 30, 2011 at 6:40 PM, Thomas Cameron > wrote: >> are they awesome? >> do they suck? >> could I have some feedback on them? > > What are the development environments like for iPad and Android > tablets?
