No, you don't.

> ls -il "-rotate90"
> find . -inum 123456 -exec rm -i {} \;

rm ./-rotate90
rm -- -rotate90

....and probably 3 or 4 other ways to do things like that.  The Unix Gurus
figured out how to deal with files that began with a '-' reasonably early on
in the history of this stuff :-P .
