Go to a terminal on 192.168.0.73, login as "joe" and do:
ssh localhost
And tell me what happens.
And, (as someone said) look at /var/logs/auth.log (or equivalent) on 
192.168.0.73 and look for "joe":
grep joe /var/logs/auth.log
ET
