you don't. the torrent file is a small file that tells a torrent client (Azureus, Utorrent, et al) where to get the file and where it will be saved on your machine.... best suggestionss for torrent clients: Ktorrent (linux), Azureus (linux java powered), rtorrent (linux CLI client).
