More info: 1. the hard drive is running 2. no post 3. it just stopped working. 4. if connected to another computer I can see my files. 5. It makes a little noise but nothing happens. I would like to be able to run some software on it and check it out and if I have to in the future recovery my files if I lose the ability to access my files by connecting to another computer.
