You might want to elaborate a little on what exactly you mean here as I
certainly am not entirely sure. The only use of "open source
architecture" I'm aware of is Red Hat's old marketing catchphrase. I'm
not entirely sure how that related to designing a package though as it
consisted of many thousands of packages  :/
