Funny thing is, I just got the laptop to print to my linux box. lol I'm using cups and I don't have a problem printing PDF's to it. And when I add the printer in windows, it connected to the linux box to get the driver. Under advanced tab on the printer properties, the print processor tells me it's using winprint in raw mode. I do remember I did install the print drivers on windows, but I'm not really sure that it's using them or not. I do know that the linux driver is the one that does all the work though. -----Original Message----- From: plug-discuss-bounces@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us [mailto:plug-discuss-bounces@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us] On Behalf Of Sean Roe Sent: Thursday, February 19, 2009 3:02 PM To: Main PLUG discussion list Subject: Re: lprng the combo of cups and samba wont print pdf correctly so I figure Id try something else.
