Thank you, Lisa. That is a very helpful explanation. In this case, the example item with a single quote mark in the subject line went into my trash folder rather than to spam. Does the fact that this happens (with single quote marks in a subject line) mean that every item like that goes into either spam or trash for *every* PLUG forum participant who uses Gmail? Is there anything I can do to prevent every email (like this one) with a single quote mark in the subject line from getting trashed or going into the spam folder? Thanks again.
