Windows * On windows you would use this Win print Hylafax software. You can download it at http://winprinthylafax.sourceforge.net/ * ADMINISTRATION:Download program called WHFC which will tell you the status of the hylafax servers. Information gleamed from http://www.lucasmanual.com/mywiki/FaxServer#head-025e46dad1ee0a64a0bf934de0a162f47ce462a6 hylafax.org was where I went to find this link, and I found this out in 3 minutes. Naturally there's more than one way to skin a cat, since you can set up samba on the server along with configure printing on there to direct to cups, which can be configured to blast through hylafax. It's all a matter of how much software autonomy you desire. For personal or small scale rollouts, the win-print function sounds like an easy bet. For large scale rollouts (or totally transparent), the samba->cups->hylafax route is the best. Thanks, Dan Lund To exercise power costs effort and demands courage. That is why so many fail to assert rights to which they are perfectly entitled - because a right is a kind of power but they are too lazy or too cowardly to exercise it. The virtues which cloak these faults are called patience and forbearance. -Friedrich Nietzsche On Tue, Sep 30, 2008 at 2:45 PM, jordi laforge wrote: > How do I do that from a Windows client? --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
