A few months ago I changed my distro to Kubuntu 8.04. I didn't care much for KDE 4.0 as I put some files and folders I use on the Desktop and I didn't like the way 4.0 handles this. It was very easy to install KDE 3.5.9 which I did and I'm now running. I, too, use Ubuntu because of the support and the amount of packages available. --- On Sun, 8/24/08, Alan Dayley wrote: > From: Alan Dayley > Subject: KDE 4 and Kubuntu? > To: "Main PLUG discussion list" > Date: Sunday, August 24, 2008, 11:08 PM > Novell has re-upped with Microsoft, including the > continuation of > "intellectual property" FUD[1].
