Still having trouble with my SuSe11.0 install. Grub now boots, but it still fails to find the onboard ethernet, or the NIC card I just put int. I downloaded a replacement ethernet module for the Marvel chipset, sk98lin, but now I can not get the Kernel to compile in order to be able to insert the new ethernet module. I am trying the old kernel from the 10.0 disk, but although that compiled completely, when I tired to boot to it, I got a kernel panic instead. I finally got Windoze to boot, and that is how I am writing this message. I downloaded a fresh copy of the 2.6.26 kernel and I will try again with that. Mike (hoping I can fix this before the next installfest)! --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
