moin moin, I found several claims that scribus can import JPG. Under File->Import it has -D for pictures, but it's greyed out. Tried just using -D, but that's also a nogo. Am I missing some plugin? Did Ubuntu cripple it for some reason? Package description includes importing JPG, so Ubuntu shouldn't be turning off that feature.
