More relevant:  "Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a
pig.  You both get filthy, and after a while, you realize the pig
is enjoying it."  Based on techie mailing lists and newsfroups I've
read, you can s/engineer/techie/ and have it work.  (Also see the
old joke about Usenet being like a herd of elephants.)
