hmmmm. you have to understand the species. Humans being what they are, someone 
will invariably get that "well, I'll just show you..." and there you go. its 
sad, unfortunate but often true.

actually, it has happened in unrelated cases (remember the case in NY state a 
couple of years back where someone published their statement (which was 
absolutely the truth) and got sued in federal court for libel on it?).. point 
is, most of the species homo sapiens will tend to retaliate. some of us tend 
to be a bit more mature about it (why take toe work to retaliate?). Now, this 
being a geek community, the chances of that happening are somewhat less than 
in the general population. Still, there are days I wonder. :)

well,
its a little more than just wishing it were so. they are actually attempting 
to "have their cake and eat it too" while forcing us to "eat a dick". There 
is, however, a lot more behind this than just money. A lot of it is out of 
control lawyers.

well, for the most part, I don't pay much attention to politics (and 
politicians). pretty much all of them lie. I have yet to see a single honest 
politician in my entire life (42 years and counting).
