I have separate partitions for [root@ghost ghost]# df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/hdb8 996M 996M 0 100% / /dev/hdb1 99M 12M 83M 12% /boot tmpfs 379M 0 379M 0% /dev/shm /dev/hdb5 4.8G 146M 4.4G 4% /home /dev/hdb9 119G 108G 5.1G 96% /home/linux /dev/hdb7 2.0G 200M 1.7G 11% /tmp /dev/hdb2 9.5G 2.9G 6.2G 32% /usr /dev/hdb3 6.7G 286M 6.0G 5% /var /dev/hdd1 996M 996M 0 100% /ghost [root@ghost ghost]# and the mount point I created is /ghost mounted to its own device but apparently its using / drive area on a different drive I got the other drive to place ghost images of my server and other machines the ghost drive is over half t-byte will a reboot help?
