I have no problems at all with end users installing proprietary stuff, or signing up for whatever service they like. Really I don't. ;-) Most of my gripes come from Linux distros or developers doing non-free things, and then end users mistakenly thinking their Linux install is completely free software. But that's another thread I'm not ready to start again, and it's certainly off-topic for this thread. You shouldn't have to be an idealist to use Linux. The free parts are free for everyone. Even for people uninterested in Freedom. :) > We all have our opinions. Through discussion of different opinions and > perspectives we all get the opportunity to learn. This is usually a great list to learn about things. :) -- Darrin Chandler | Phoenix BSD User Group | MetaBUG dwchandler@stilyagin.com | http://phxbug.org/ | http://metabug.org/ http://www.stilyagin.com/ | Daemons in the Desert | Global BUG Federation --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
