moin moin, http://www.Ubuntu.com/news/ubuntu710 A couple of days ago I downloaded the beta i386 desktop ISO. Once I got the torrent for the final ISO I copied the beta image to the expected filename for the final release. rtorrent did a checksum and didn't need to grab anything, so the beta from a few days ago is exactly the same as the release CD. No need to download it again if you recently grabbed it. $ md5sum ubuntu-7.10-desktop-i386.iso gutsy-desktop-i386.iso d2334dbba7313e9abc8c7c072d2af09c ubuntu-7.10-desktop-i386.iso d2334dbba7313e9abc8c7c072d2af09c gutsy-desktop-i386.iso $ sum -r ubuntu-7.10-desktop-i386.iso gutsy-desktop-i386.iso 49391 712508 ubuntu-7.10-desktop-i386.iso 49391 712508 gutsy-desktop-i386.iso Then again, dist-upgrade is even better :). I'll check the AMD desktop ISO once I finish getting it. ciao, der.hans -- # https://www.LuftHans.com/ http://www.CiscoLearning.org/ # kill telnet, long live ssh - der.hans --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
