By "in house" I meant into my server room at the office vs. the having it "professionally" hosted, so I have some $$ for bandwidth. As far as bandwidth, it will only work if we can get the COX feed we are looking for. (Engineers say by January, but I have heard it before) Rite now I have few T1's and the cost of adding the additional bandwidth would indeed be prohibitive if I was forced to keep this form. From what I can tell we should expect ~10Mbs peek, but that data is not currently made available to us. I suppose another question, since I am toying with this idea, would be what you experience as peek bandwidth? -----Original Message----- From: plug-discuss-bounces@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us [mailto:plug-discuss-bounces@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us] On Behalf Of Mike Garfias Sent: Friday, October 05, 2007 7:16 PM To: Main PLUG discussion list Subject: Re: OT - Server spec's, need opinion. At work we're going ~ 16 Million hits per day, spread over 3 webservers (Opteron 246s w/2GB & raid1 sata). Figure 5Million hits/day/machine. I think you'll be fine. My question is, how are you getting enough bandwidth to feed this at home? --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
