I have an old Power Supply fan that needs replacing. It's been moaning and groaning for a while, and it really needs to go. I went to Fry's and found a replacement that I thought would work, but it doesn't. The size and connector is the same, but the color and orientation of the (3) wires is different. The new fan is black-red-yellow, while the original is blue-red-black (I'm pretty sure that was the sequence - it's back in the case at the moment). I'm under the impression that color coding standards aren't always followed by some manufacturers, but I'm not certain about this. Any guidance for this poor soul? (so I don't have to buy a whole new PS!) -- -Eric 'shubes' --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
