As an old English teacher I find paragraph four bothersome. My favorite professor used to say, "To deftly split an infinitive is the mark of a good writer." The phrase "...to not only freely use..." is egregiously non-deft; moreover, it's arguably the worst split since Kevin left Britney. May I offer a slightly more graceful first sentence: "Linux freedom allows users not only to use its operating system and application programs freely, but also to MODIFY FREELY, CUSTOMIZE, AND DISTRIBUTE FREELY both the basic operating system and its application programs." In addition, the first sentences of paragraph four and paragraph six might have been composed by the Department of Redundancy Department. Just to let you know somebody's reading the brochure and taking it seriously (but good-humoredly.)
