Even smaller, but no kde, Puppy linux. I used it for awhile when I didn't have a hard drive. Fast, and could do most everything I needed including printing. There are other 'small, fast live distro's also'. I found that it was 'similiar' enough that I could use it instead of a big distro for most everything I did. And it had a firewall you could setup.
