Well, it was going along very slowly and I was looking at the resource monitor and it was all green. So I figured I would shut down some programs to see which was the problem. Closed every visible window and it didn'affect the monitor even a little. So I typed in 'top' and there was a program callled nspluginviewer using 8 around 90% of the cpu (opera was also still running). I found the offending program. I killed it and the resource monitor went black with disuse. So what is this program. My survey of google implies that it has to do with flash. Is this so? If this is so would anyone have Any idea how to make this program behave? I am thinking this program is for opera becaus konqueror is acting nicely. Nooooooo....... The slowness got me searching for alternatives to KDE. Hmm.... yep.... it has to do with Flash.... I started an IM and nspluginviewer poped up..... but everything remained nice. I guess that sometimes it goes beserk and a simple reboot won't fix it. That doesn't sound right! -- :~)MIKE(~: --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
