I dont remember if it comes out of the box. I think firefox links to gtk libraries so it's probably there. But I'm mainly concerned that he uses the kubuntu methods first and only uses ubuntu/gnome stuff if the first approach does not work. It's just better practice to stick with what's installed out of the box. > If anyone wants to post the specific steps for Adept to add the universe and multiverse repositories for Kubuntu, that would probably be helpful. Adept has a repository section where you can simply click on them to enable or disable. It's much easier to use than synaptics repo manager IMHO. It's under File->Manage Repositories. If he needs something not in main he can find the line for universe and multiverse and simply click on it to turn it from gray to black. - -- JT Morée PC Xperience, Inc. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFViec1JwGi/ukQqERAvgZAJ9eZgHbZsnlTm8JWKeYXzuNqA/VSwCgpO1w jqIMNQzkLG1/MEm0hjSyq6c= =oK8u -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
