Look in the root directory of the DVD and you will find the file md5sum.txt which will let you verify the DVD with this command. md5sum -c md5sum.txt or md5sum -c md5sum.txt |grep FAILED Since all you are interested in are files that don't check out. If you get an error try reburning the DVD at a slower speed.
