Now, I don't know you from Adam, thus I'm only relaying what this message _appears_ to be, and it _appears_ to be from yet another lazy kid who wants the world handed to him. Seriously, put forth some initiative. If getting into the IT world is _really_ what you want to do, pick up an extra part time job to make the money for the testing. FWIW, I've never gotten any certs, and I've done OK. None of my friends have certs, and most of them are making $50,000+/yr. _eric -----Original Message----- From: plug-discuss-bounces@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us [mailto:plug-discuss-bounces@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us] On Behalf Of Technomage Sent: Friday, September 29, 2006 2:19 AM To: Main PLUG discussion list Subject: Re: OT: Dell Hardware Warranty Support Job why is it that only the good jobs require I spend money I don't yet have to have a cert just to get the job that would pay me to have the cert (once employed)? this is frustrating. I don't have the $500.00 plus to take the course to get the A++ cert and without the Certs these days, my chances of being employed in any meaningful way are diminishing fast. :( --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
