Sounds like you're running postfix in a chroot jail. Are you running Deb/Ubuntu by any chance? If so, the default install as postifx jailed. edit /etc/postfix/master.cf and change the chroot col to 'n'. The other option is to link /usr/bin/procmail to /var/spool/postfix/ user/bin/procmail.
