I'm setting off to travel this (hopefully not exactly this) road. I'm finding that I pretty much need a static IP address to run my email server. I have a dynamic address that dyndns.org tracks for me, but I've found out that cox.net and aol.com are blocking incoming email from servers at dynamic addresses. :( The only other option I'm aware of is dnsdns's webhop service, but that has a daily limit that I'm not fond of. All I need from Qwest is the DSL. I'm looking at getnet, convergent, and fastq for an ISP. I'll be running my own 'services' (virtual domains: email, web hosting). I'll probably continue to use dyndns.org for dns services and domain registration.
