Description
THIS POSITION WILL BE OPEN UNTIL FILLED.  THE FIRST RESUME REVIEW WILL BE
FEBRUARY 15, 2006.

This position is located at 1510 W. Adams St., Phoenix

This position will be responsible for the administration and monitoring of
system access.  Create security profiles according to requests received
from customers.  Ensure requests are authorized by appropriate person.
Identify and resolve security issues.  Create UNIX/AIX user profiles.
Create user profiles using Lawson LAUA.  Write UNIX script programs to
streamline manual functions and create necessary reports.  As needed, 24/7
hours after hours support.  Review Remedy tickets/customer requests, act
accordingly and complete within the specified timeframe.  Create Remedy
tickets for any issues that require another department's involvement for
resolution.  Develop, document and maintain policies, procedures and
standards.  Develop and maintain processes and procedures to streamline
security related functions for the various platforms.  Maintain paper
files and email according to State standards.  Cross train on all security
platforms that include RACF, SUN, Solaris, HP/UNIX, AIX/UNIX.  Logical
deductive reasoning.  Coordinate security related activities and projects
with other technical and
end user areas.  Provide management reports as required.

*Strong security knowledge of mid-large authentication methodologies
(range of LDAP and Kerberos configurations).
*Experience with the implementation of common authentication system for
multiple
disparate applications and systems. 
*Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems a plus. 
*Applications development experience necessary.
*Application management experience helpful.
*Experience in C programming language. 
*Experience with technical documentation, change control and interfacing
LDAP with Windows, and Novell a plus. 
*Knowledge of UNIX Security Administration. 
*Knowledge of and prior work experience with UNIX Script Security.
*Ability to write technical documentation and type computer commands.
*Technical documentation abilities a plus. 
*Ability to work flexible hours, holidays and weekends. 
*Ability to analyze data and information from multiple sources.
