moin moin, I am starting a new series at the general meetings this month. I call it "How I use Free Software" and envision someone talking for up to 5 minutes about something they do at work, home or whereever with Free Software. Talk about some task done, a favorite piece of software, a bug that's been annoying you, software you're working on, whatever. No presentations needed, just talking is fine. If no one else volunteers you'll be stuck listening to me. Same goes for the west side meeting... Additionally we'll have a short presentation from Alan on submitting info to the web site. It's a follow up to his short presentation last month. Dennis has offered to do a presentation on System Rescue CD for us. I haven't confirmed he meant for next week, so don't hold it against him if it's not this month. Ideally we'd have another main presentation. Anybody got something they'd like to do? Maybe an extended "How I use Free Software" and talk about some favorite piece of software. ciao, der.hans -- # https://www.LuftHans.com/ http://www.CiscoLearning.org/ # Join the League of Professional System Administrators! https://LOPSA.org/ # When I work, I work hard.
