I read the website, it's an app to help push a large volume of Linux boxen, and can also be used to build a reload CD. I think at the low volume we are at, plus given the variety of Linux boxes we install, this might not help much. But I'll keep it in mind for when I start hyping Installfest to corporate Phoenix, or for some other reason we start installing more than ten boxes per installfest (last week we had one :P ). It's possible it might help the ASU Installfest folks, though, with their bigger installfests. Actually, I just thought of a potential minus to using Instalinux. One of the goals of Installfest is to get people to learn Linux, and getting them to learn to install it themselves is part of that. So seeing us go through the motions of burning a CD, using rescueCD to repartition, then going through the install screens of the particular distro is part of that learning process. This shortcuts that process by a lot, and then the user is stuck only being able to install through our special version of Instalinux. -- Alexander http://ahtechllc.com/ --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
