Yeehaa! I finally got FC5 installed. Better than that, I got my laptop partitioned and setup the way I want: on a 60gig: 20gig windows(have too) 15gig vfat (OS sharing, may convert to ntfs) 1gig /swap 10g / 9.9gig /home I'm also using ndiswrapper from livna instead of make'ing it myself. Not that I mind, but one less step when I update the kernel. So now its nice and clean. Before I start to junk it up, anyone used ntfs drives in Fedora? I have a vfat I was using to share files, but if the NTFS support is decent I'd rather use that than vfat. Also, looks like Gnome is quite a bit faster than KDE. Anyone else see the same? Before it wasn't that different for me.
