I haven't had any problems with support from Cox. I simply tell them it's plugged into a Linux box, and they then assume I know how to restart the network connection, etc. on that machine. The only problems I've had was when I first signed up, things didn't work well until they figured out they had a bad port at the box in the alley. It took them 5 trips out to figure that out, but once fixed it has worked well. Going back to the original question, I had no problems at all setting it up. I simply used Mandriva's network setup tool, told it to set up with DHCP, and away it went. --- Matt Mets wrote: > I use Linux with COX at home as well.
