My grub menu.lst entry for XP is: title Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition root (hd0,0) savedefault makeactive chainloader +1 That entry was originally added by the Debian (Ubuntu) installer for a non-linux OS on /dev/hda1. I don't remember if I modified it at all or not, but it works fine for me. HTH -- -Eric 'shubes' "There is no such thing as the People; it is a collectivist myth.
