My wife uses gThumb to organize here photos. (Nice program.) Yesterday she was moving large numbers of photo files around. The program, as she put it, "freaked out" and stopped working. Since then the thumbnails are not displayed. She goes into the Preferences, turns thumbnail display OFF then back ON and the thumbnails come back. But when she uses the program again the thumbnails are again OFF even though Preferences is set to ON. Turning off and on brings them back for that session. So far google searches are in-conclusive. I deleted all the thumbnail files in ~/.thumbnails to force recreation, which it did but this did not fix the issue. We are a KDE family so my GNOME application "tweaking" experience is low. Anybody heard of this or know of some config file somewhere to look into?
