I'm following Siri's recommendation to download Kanotix, it looks nice. I wanted to use BitTorrent, but ran into several problems. (I could just bounce over to XP and use BT there, but I'll stick it out.) * I downloaded the BitTorrent client and installed it from the RPM, but I don't know how to run it. I can't identify the executable, or find any help on the subject. (Here's another example of Free Software being more friendly on Windows than on Linux.) * I downloaded Azureus but it gripes about my Java being the wrong version, yet I thought I just installed the latest. Can multiple versions co-exist on my machine? If so, how do I find them, and how do I root out old versions? * I registered the wrong file to be activated when I click on a .torrent file. How do I undo this to run the correct application? Will this be fixed if I just use "run with" and tell it to remember the association? * And here's a BitTorrent/Cox question. Is there any way to track my current upload/download volumes, so I can leave a Torrent open without getting Cox annoyed at me? They have stated clear limits, so I just need to be able to watch what I'm doing. (I don't do video or massive downloads, but would like to be generous with back-seeding my Torrents.)
