To the best of my knowledge, there is more than one way that copying and pasting is handled, in X. I believe highlighting and clicking with the middle button (wheel) is more universal. Using an application's copy function seems to be somewhat limitted, as far as support by other applications. Whenever I have trouble, I try the highlight/middle click route, and it seems to work... If anyone could shed more light on how copying and pasting are handled, and possibly even include a link, I'd appreciate it. I'd like to *know*, not just recall hearing from others... :) -Erik On 6/20/05, unixprgrmr01@netscape.net wrote: > After I use the right click copy, the normal linux copy and paste function of the left button and then the wheel do not work. > > Anyone have this problem and know how to fix it??? > > Thanks for your help! > > Lynn > > __________________________________________________________________ > Switch to Netscape Internet Service. > As low as $9.95 a month -- Sign up today at http://isp.netscape.com/register > > Netscape.
