I agree with Kurt, changing your cc number is probably overkill
(unless you really are that paranoid).

But I disagree with the fact that the Citibank records is a bigger
problem. If you listen to the reports, they were storing information
for research, which would indicate to me your personal data as well as
credit card numbers. This would include your social security
information, your credit ratings, checking account information etc.
All of these are used in research (I work in the medical research
field and we have a pretty extensive amount of information on our
patients).

If they were able to get access to all that information, chances are
changing your cc number would amount to nothing, as they would be able
to call in and get the information changed for their usage.
