Explored that.  Canon i960.

I'm thinking I'll have to convert to postscript and then scale in
some postscript tool.

I even downloaded the "real" Adobe Reader for Linux.  It has the
"fit to paper" option but it won't print landscape.  Not for lack of
settings but through some interaction between my printer, drivers
and it, I think.
