moin, moin, do we have a few people interested in putting this together for Elite PC? Elite PC provided us with room for the GNUe class last year and has sponsored a few events for PLUG and ASULUG. ciao, der.hans -- # https://www.LuftHans.com/ http://www.AZOTO.org/ # To us former windows users, linux IS an easter egg :) I cant remember # how many times i said to myself "i can do that?" -- BoBB ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Thu, 2 Jun 2005 12:30:47 -0700 From: Aaron Richey To: classes@PLUG.phoenix.az.us Subject: Instructor At Elite PC we are offering free monthly classes to our dealers. We have recently done classes on Home Automation and Video Editing. I would like to offer a class on Linux and was wondering if you know of anyone who would be willing to teach a class for free. The attendees would be mainly network technicians and local computer dealers. We usually promote our classes a month in advance and have two sessions during the day, one morning class and one afternoon class. I would want the class to be a basic introduction to familiarize our dealers with Linux. Maybe running through a standard desktop installation and focusing on the benefits of Open Source Software.
