Compaq was pretty supportive, if through a back door, of the Free Software community. They had most of the bricking issues fixed and the devel labs would fix and return bricks. That was a couple of years ago. Not sure HPaq has continued support for the labs. Also not sure of the status for new models. www.handhelds.org The wiki has pages for supported handhelds and hardware compatability. Looks like things aren't working well on new HPaqs :(. ciao, der.hans -- # https://www.LuftHans.com/ http://www.AZOTO.org/ # Nobody grows old merely by living a number of years. # We grow old by deserting our ideals. # Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm # wrinkles the soul. -- Samuel Ullman --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
