It's a good thing we have PLUG ........ :-)

FYI ........

In SaX2 | Monitor | Expert --
changing the "Modeline Algorithm" from
CheckDesktopGeometry to UseFrameBufferTiming
makes things all better:  no ghosting and the monitor
now reports "reasonable and customary" refresh
rates.
