I'll try a DVD-R next. I just had a thought about burn settings. I have been mostly accepting all the defaults provided by QDVDAuthor or K3b. I did not even look at extensino settings. I note that the burn commandline from QDVDAuthor specifies UDF. Does one need to worry about Julian, Rock Ridge or other extentions when creating a DVD? I'll only get to try something tonight after work but I want to keep tapping the PLUG collective!
