I have created a CD with several web albums of photos. The albums were created with gThumb. I then created an "master" index.html for click access to the web albums. Cool. Now I try to use it on Windows 98 and Windows XP at my mother-in-law's and the graphic links are broken along with HTML page one level down from the web album thumbnails. The files are all there but the browser can't find them. Some additional observations: - Firefox on Windows XP has the same problem. - The file and directory names are in ALL CAPS even though they are normally capitalized when burned from Linux using K3B. - Altering the capitalization in the HTML files and added a "./" in front of the "imgsrc" string does not solve the problem. I am producing this CD for distribution to 150-200 people. Most (all?) will be putting it into a computer running some version of Windows. Broken links will not cut it. Has anyone found the problem and/or solved it?
