I was also making the additional point that disobeying a bad law (in particular, one that outlaws a harmless activity) is actually a positive thing. It's part of my very cynical view of government that will probably get me in trouble some day. One day some bureaucrat will decide I'm a terrorist and give me a one-way ticket to Gitmo.
