I thought chmod was for individual files, not a whole partation. Even after I installed to hde1 successfully, it will NOT write to hde6! It does just fine on the partition that the o/s is on (hde1), but refuses to write to hde6, even after mounting and rt click, action, change read write to writeable. What script would you use to change hde6 so hde1's o/s can write to it?
